Packing your bike in the SEND-IT bike box is simple - no more messing around with bubble wrap and flimsy incorrectly sized cardboard boxes to get your bike ready for travel.
Everything you need to keep your bike safe and secure comes in one neat and carefully sized package.
Just follow the steps below and it'll be ready to go in no time. Only the wheels, handlebars, pedals and rear derailleur need to be taken off the bike.
Lower SEAT and deflate FORK & REAR SHOCK (if applicable).
Remove PEDALS, WHEELS and REAR DERAILLEUR, place derailleur & pedals in BAGS and fix to frame with VELCRO STRAPS, attach foam BB BLOCK below crank with VELCRO STRAP.
Remove HANDLEBARS, place in BAG and fix to frame with VELCRO STRAP, fix CRANK to frame with VELCRO STRAP.
Place frame into box, using STRAPS from BOTTOM OF BOX tie bike down at stem and on rear triangle, pull CENTRE STRAP FROM BACK OF BOX and tie over frame.
Deflate a little air from the WHEELS (exercise caution if your tyres are tubeless), pack WHEELS into WHEEL BAGS (if applicable it is recommended that you remove your brake disks and put them in your other luggage).
Pack WHEEL BAGS on top of frame (rear wheel with cassette facing up for added protection), pull OUTER STRAPS from back of box and gently tighten them over WHEEL BAGS and frame.
Check you have packed everything you took off the bike, box up and tighten OUTER STRAPS (seal up with box tape if you would like a little more peace of mind that your bike will arrive safely at its destination - no system is fully airport baggage handling proof).
